Privacy
This page explains what happens to the details you send us through this website. It is written in plain language on purpose — there is not much to it.
What we collect
Only what you type into one of the two forms on this site:
- The contact form — your name, phone number, an email address if you choose to give one, and your message.
- The Coffee Club box — your email address, nothing else.
We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this site, and we do not use cookies to follow you around. The only cookie this site sets is the sign-in cookie for the cafe's own staff area.
What we do with it
We use your contact details to reply to you and to arrange whatever you asked about — a table, an event, a question. We use Coffee Club emails to send occasional news about the cafe, and nothing else. We do not sell your details or pass them to anyone for marketing.
Where it is kept
Messages and Coffee Club signups are stored in our own database, hosted with MongoDB Atlas. Photos shown on this site are delivered through ImageKit. Both are service providers acting on our behalf; they do not use your details for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are dealing with them and for our own records afterwards. Coffee Club emails are kept until you ask to come off the list.
Asking us to remove your details
Write or call and we will delete what we hold about you, or take you off the Coffee Club list. You can ask us for a copy of it too.
